Rotate custom patterns

I have custom patterns that I have imported into Revit from a pat file, but
how do I change the angle of the pattern in a filled region to be what I
need it to be? Surely you don't have to redo the whole pat file (pain in
the butt) just to rotate the pattern? Thanks.

Did you make it a model or a drafting pattern?
Model patterns can be rotated. Drafting patterns cannot as they are relative
to the view.

To rotate a model pattern, tab to select any edge in the pattern and then
just use the rotate tool.

Yes, it is a drafting pattern, but when I try to import it as a model
pattern, it says none exist in the .pat file. How do I create a model
pattern?
