Room tagging

Hi all

can anybody help me with scheduling room tags.

the problem i have is that when i insert a room tag into a project and then create a schedule from these room tags it will only allow me to schedule the room areas in either square feet or square metres depending on the project standards.

i work in the housing market and i really need to be able to schedule both types of areas from the one tag.

at present i am having to create a separate parameter and enter the square feet in manually, which is rubbish because it doesn't update automatically

thanks in advance

You can add a calculated parameter to the table, for it's value enter the
AREA*(your conversion factor here) then it'll update automatically.

Technically you are not scheduling room tags. You are scheduling rooms and
including area as one of the columns. Schedules provide full flexibility in
formatting area columns. Go to formatting tab of schedule properties, select
Area and press Field Format... button. Format dialog comes up. Uncheck "Use
project settings" checkmark and specify what you want.

If you need to have two columns one in sq.meters and another in sq.feet
create a calculated value column = area and apply different formatting.
