Roof using footprint tool

Hi,

I used the roof by footprint tool. I was constructing a flat roof structure. I clicked the walls to construct the roof. All the pink lines were joined but when i clicked on the green tick to complete the roof it came up with an error saying the lines were too short. the roof had an overhang set of 300mm.

Any ideas why this error keeps occurring??

Are you using the pick lines command to pick the existing walls?

It is seeing a line that is very short and cannot use it to make a roof. Make sure all of your lines are single lines and are trimmed to corner.

That is my first thoughts.
