Revit window sizing

When modifying the standard Revit windows -  i.e edit, duplicate & rename then changing the window size, the new window does not re size completely, features such as transoms or parts of the frame do not update correctly to reflect new window size - they appear to be constrained to their original created size with no parametric adaptivity. I can't see any obvious issues when I go in to edit the family. So far I am experiencing this problem on Dbl Variable Casement & Sgl Casement Top Hung windows.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Mark

Hi,

The constraints in these windows are controlled by a type parameter. You'll need to create a new type for each different size.

See help for the difference between instance and type parameters - http://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2015/ENU/?guid=GUID-1B5B5C2E-072F-4349-9C70-D88204F9145D

Thanks,

Maciej
