Revit Suggestions for easier use

When I go to type something in the properties box such as the view name or change a parameter value, I click in the box and start typing, however if my mouse pointer doesn't stay over that box until I'm done typing, whatever I'm typing stops at the moment my mouse moves from the box.  I have my keyboard and mouse on a keyboard tray that is slanted, so most of the time when I let go of my mouse to type, the mouse moves down.  It's just an annoying little thing that could be fixed.  Is that a revit thing or is there some mouse setting I can select?

Is there somewher eI can send my suggestions to other than that once a year suggestion thing?  I usually forget everything that comes up and never submit anything because of that.  Is there is somewhere I could send things to as they come up?

Annoying is an understatement. Its time wasting and extremely frustrating. I have the same prob and I'm working on a flat surface. Revit is the only program that I seem to have this problem on...curious.
