Revit Server permissions

Using Revit Server 2012, is it possible for an administrator to set up access permissions to folders to different users or offices who connect remotely from different places, and who are not related one to each other? The Help documents talk about access permissions but the information is more oriented to other scenarios.

What I need is something that allows the administrator to set something like "User 1 can open only Folder 1", "User 2 can open only Folder 2". Does anybody know if it is possible to set up this kind of permissions?

The Revit Server Manager application does not have any tools for permissions, so it might be possible somehow with the operating system. Any ideas?

Unfortunately the model folder control is not supported in 2012.

Hope that answers your question.
