No books, Just some of your time.
First, go through all the tutorials. Help file is sometimes good (and
sometimes not).
This discussion group has been a great help for me.
The "Revit school" as you will see, is AUGI forums. (www.augi.com)
A good site is www.revitcity.com Also some blogs

See also http://www.dgcad.com

This site has some good Revit 8.0 tutorials for a good price. The first
eight are free, so if you don't like them, no need to pay for the rest.

AUonline has some really good tutorials for subscription subscribers.
They have published video demos, handouts and data sets of some of the AU
classes.
They can be accessed from the main page of your subscription center (upper
right corner of page).
The subscription center has FREE "E" learning for subscribers.
They also have distance learning for a small fee I believe.
Also AUGI has the FREE ATP courses for their members.

All of these can get you started on the right track and most of them are
FREE to subscribers.
