Revit raw information location or "Back end Database"

I would like to find a file which contains all the information in a project. I'm not sure what this is called...? Back end database? Raw information location?

I would like to use this file in order to retrieve information that is lost when converting from .rvt to IFC.

(hopefully this is  an easy question for an experienced Revit user...)

Do a search about Revit DB Link. That is probably what you need. It creates a database file that can be opened in Microsoft Access. The database includes related tables, with all the information about the elements of the project.
