I just installed Revit.
The product key is accepted, but the serial number not.
How come that the serial number, I got by mail is not accepted and what can I do to finish the installation?

Apologies for the activation troubles but we'll get this figured out! Will you please confirm the version of Revit you are using, including the year, as well as your product key and your request code if you are being presented with one.

Thanks for that information. So you are not receiving a request code with the error? Do you have any other Autodesk products installed on your machine? It's possible this activation is pulling in old licensing.
hej, it finally worked out. after the 5th time typing the codes it worked out.
