Revit opening screen issue

After closing the revit session we can still see the Project Browser, Properties DB and the Header Ribbon in Revit 2014. Here we have attached two snap for your easy reference:

Many factors could case this issue

Here are steps to try and see which one fixes the issue.

1) Maybe one of the addins that you have is causing the issue

so Close completely Revit and then go to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins and then Rename 2014 Folder to 2014_backup

and open Revit and then close it and see if the issue is solved.

if it is solved then you need to narrow down which addin is causing it by adding addin by addin and see which one.

2) Bad UI and need to be reset

so you need to go to 

C:\Users\(your user name)\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2014

and then rename UIState.dat to UIState.Backup 

+ go to windows start button and write REGEDIT
