I will soon be purchasing Revit LT 2015 and will train on it over the winter. I currently have been on Autocad and/or Autocad LT for the past 10 years or so, so I am a seasoned CAD user. There are not too many (if any) Revit LT training tutorials out there because Revit LT is a relatively new product. My question is this, if I train on a standard Revit tutorial are Revit and Revit LT similar enough that I will be able to learn Revit LT using a standard Revit tutorial?

You can probably use almost any Revit training materials for Revit LT. The differrences are fairly subtle. Most books/tutorials will work just fine for learning the basics of Revit as a software.
If you get into advanced topics, just keep in mind which features of Revit are not included with Revit LT, and, as Jeff mentioned, most Revit training materials will work with Revit LT.
