Hi,
I've Installed, repaired (three times) Revit 2014 and still when I click open on the recent files page Revit hangs and says "Not responding".
The only work around I have come across is to change, each time I open Revit, the "default path for user files" in options.
If anyone has a solution to stop this I would be most appreciative.
Many thanks ... Peter.

Peter,
I had the same exact problem with my new HP Elitebook computer. I installed Revit 2014 SP2 and it stalls when clicking on the file open. I also resorted to your work around to get to open files. I traced the problem back to HP Trust Circle (file encryption software) and uninstalled it. After removing HP Trust Circle, Revit was back to normal. Try removing any file encryption software on your computer.

Hi Leo,
Fantastic, thank you so much. It was exactly the same problem on a HP desktop.
Cheers ... Peter.
Hi,
I had the same problem too, and after removing any HP file encryption software on my computer, Revit was back to normal.
Thanks a lot!
