you do not explode. duplicate compound ceiling, rename and select material in structure (pick one of your fill pattern (2x2 or 2x4) for surface, if not just duplicate similar pattern and edit it. what I don't know is how to make gridlines hidden line for future ACT ceiling...anyone knows?
