Revit Accuracy

Once a completed designed floor space model has been loaded at one scale, then when expanding to a different scale (e.g. from 1:200 to 1:10) are the dimensions and floor area reliably unchanged in their process?

Revit Accuracy depends of your settings and not of scale.

In Manage > Project Units  you can set the rounding of dimensions, that can be later override when needed.

I usualy, use some dimension styles with different settings and roundings.

For instance ,

  • for site layout (1/500) I use an override for dimension (from Unit Format) - a rounding of 5 cm
  • for Plan Layouts (1/50 or 1/100) I use a rounding of 5mm
  • for interior design and furniture , I use mm and no rounding
