revit 2015 material patterns rotate when exporting to a DWF

I am exporting a 3D view from Revit 2015 to a DWF to view in autodesk design review. when I open the DWF in design review the patterns on the materials are rotated 90 degrees e.g. standing seam roof, wood siding. wondering how to alleviate this problem?

Could you post a screenshot of this behavior, perhaps two screenshots, one in Revit and one in Design Review. Also it may be helpful if you post a screenshot of the materials settings and orientation. Lastly, a dxdiag may also be useful. 

Is this an out of the box material or is this custom?

Maybe use a model pattern in lieu of a drafting pattern?

Apparently it was the image itself. we rotated the image once in Revit so design review doesnt recognize that rotate. so found out that we need to rotate the image before assigning it to a material in revit.
