Revit 2015 Licensing error 10

I recently installed Revit 2015 (already had Revit 2014 installed), and I am trying to apply materials to things and it is not working. I can open the material properties, make a new material, and rename the material, but I am unable to change anything about it. At one point, an error popped up " Licensing System Error 10: failed to start AdLm". Everything else is working fine. I can just not change material properties. Please help!

do I have to uninstall it, in order to install it using Microsoft Fixit?

Run the Microsoft fix it tool, uninstall, and then reinstall per the directions
