Anybody know where the family template files are located now? I have no template folders or "Libraries" Folder in the following location C:\Program Data\Autodesk\RVT 2015\.
I am not sure if I need to reinstall Revit or look in a different spot.

bcampbell: i thik you should use the add/remove feature from the control panel, it will redownload those files but you have to stay connected to internet...

You First need to EXIT Autodesk Application Manager.

Sometimes is not a problem with libraries, in my case I have to uninstall autodesk revit 2015 , then i install it again and templates and families apear.
I have to say before do it, also reinstall libraries several times and it don´t work.

I have uninstalled and reinstlled and still when i come to load a family the metric library is empmty, same when I come create a new family...no templates!!
I also get this message when revit starts up. see attached image.

If you're getting the dialog box but it appears that the content is actually installed, I found the following solution on two machines:

1- go to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features
2-Dubel Click on the Autodesk Revit Content Libarries 20XX .
3-click add or remove feature and select US Metric.
4-click Ok
You can check your programe date.
Path:C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2015
It's located in programe data.Normally programe data hide default.You have to uncheck the hidden files.then you will get it.
And go with my given You will get the template.

I am trying to add an .RFA (family) in Revit 2017. When I try and add a family or say a toilet or other plumbing fixture, I get the following error:
"The file Toilet-Domestic-3D.rfa was saved in a later version of Revit and cannot be retrieved in this version"
How do I downgrade my RFA content libraries to Revit 2017?
