Revit 2014

I probably am missing something with this. But maybe, someone can tell me.

When I insert a CAD file into Revit. The walls from the CAD files don't show up. What I do see is the center line if that. When I go into the CAD files the walls are 3D and visible.

Is there something that I should do when I link the CAD file into my Revit model.

I don't want to explode the file because then I loose the doors and windows that are attached.

I would verify that PROXYGRAPHICS are set to 1 in AutoCAD.
