Revit 2014 new project template file <NONE>

I have just downloaded Revit Architecture 2014 and cannot do anything I need to as the New Project template file is empty. I have done the add/remove updates as well as re installing update etc as directed by the Autodesk advice. There is still no template files. What am I doing wrong? I am using a student version is this makes any difference. I need help ASAP please. Many thanks.

-Open Control Panel and go to Programs.

-Select Revit and select Uninstall/Change

-Select Add and Remove Features and select the content libraries you want to install.

It is important that you have an internet connection (content is downloaded during the installation process). Also firewall might be blocking downloading

Also check knowledge.autodesk.com. If you do a search on "templates" you porbably will find articles suggesting possible solutions

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
