Revit 2014 Handrail type - support perpendicular to handrail?

Hi,

Does anyone know in Revit 2014, is it possible to place handrail support brackets perpendicular to the handrail element?  I tried turning off "Always vertical" and turning on "Work-Plane based" to no effect.  The edited family is based off the out-of-the-box wallmount bracket, which is a level-based family.

What I am trying to do:

What I am getting in Revit:

Many thanks.

Use a Baluster family template & insert the component you have created. Put dimensions to restrain it based on the offsets you wish to keep.

Load this into project & replace the baluster family to the one created . You can control the spacing too through Railing Edit type properties of Baluster Placement.

Attached a sample of what you had sent (modified the same)

& a similar one present in Library.

Hope what you are looking is the same
