revit 2014 connection failure

hi, i have used revit for many years now, have installed 2013 and 2014 on other computers with no trouble,

im trying to install 2014 on my laptop and keeps coming up with connection failure: after all the posts ive been throught and changed alot of settings sugested by users i still cannot manage to download it, its been 4 days trying to install, please helpive tried downloading in every way (browser etc)

pretty urgent as submission are close!

You mentioned that you are getting an error message "conenction failure:.

Were you able to finish the download?

Can you please try the following after making sure you have a successful conection to the internet:

1. Visit the Virtual Agent.

2.Click "Download Links" on the list of topics in the right-hand panel.

3.Follow the on-screen prompts to find the installer file you need.

4.Select your product.

5. You are now presented with the choice to download your software. 

6. Reboot computer, Turn Antivirus Off, Clear the contents of the %temp% folder

7. Attempt to re-install the software by Right Clicking on the file downloaded and select “Run As Administrator”.
