Revit 2014 and windows 8.1 Pro

I have read the other threads, however, this does not seem to have been answered fully.   Is there a hotfix for Revit 2014 and windows 8.1 pro for the invisible Quick Access Toolbar and the InfoCenter tool bar.  Switching the program to integrated graphics solves the problem, but this means the dedicated graphics card is disabled.  This does not appear to be an issue in Revit 2015.
