Revit 2013 Ribbon Update not working

2013 Revit ribbon bar is missing commands...

Tried to install the update to fix the ribbon bar - however when I open the update folder on my computer it states

"The update release could not be installed because the expected Autodesk product could not be located on your computer. Make sure that you are using the correct Update Release for the product."

The update file that I am trying to use is called "Autodesk_Revit_2013-x86_Update2.exe"

Anyone?

Make sure you download the correct update for your product. See the list below:

1. Ribbon hotfix for Revit 2012
2. Revit 2013 Update Release 2
3. Revit Architecture 2013 Update Release 2
4. Revit MEP 2013 Update Release 2
5. Revit Structure 2013 Update Release 2

Just curious..

• This happens after installing Revit 2014?

if you cycle through : 

• Click  (Show Full Ribbon) to the right of the ribbon tabs. , caming back to same ribbon state the commands appear again?

I have had 2 seperate computers where the update did not take. I copied the DLL's from a working updated computer to the problematic computer and all is well. I can't explain why it didn't take as it was recorded as installed properly.
