Revit 2013, Restore Render Function

I have lost my Render function (tab is grayed-out). Can anyone suggest a method to restore the function without having to remove and reinstall the program?

Jim

Hello and Welcome to the Discussion!

Can you post an image of the screen? I am interested to see what view you are in...

You can reset the user interface by removing or renaming the UIState.dat file.

You can't think AutoCAD and run Revit.

Hello Lisa,

See the file attachment for a screen shot. In the View tab of Revit, in graphics category, there are 3 render options. The first "Render" option has become disabled. Your suggestion of resetting the User Interface might work, but since my technical knowledge is limited, I will need step-by-step instructions.

Thanks for your reply,

Jim

This problem is resolved. Apparently the Render function is automatically grayed out if you're not in the camera view.
