Revit 2013 hangs when mouse move over R-> Suite workflows . Not solved

I am still having problems with Revit  2013. It hangs when the mouse move over Big R->Suite Workflow. I try not to move over this menu but sometimes it cannot be helped. Once it hangs I have to kill REVIT and I lost all my work. This is very frustrating and very unproductive. Even SP2 doesn't solve this problem. After more than a year of release this serious problem is not fixed.  Autodesk need to fix problem instead of creating new versions. Stability is more important than small features change. Losing work is a very serious problem since Revit doesn't  autosave.

The save function is just a reminder and only occurs when you execute a new command. This feature is very irritating because when you want to do something you are interrupted and delayed with something else. Can't revit do something better at this ?

I need a solution since I am constantly accessing the R menu and I keep getting this problem and losing my work.

No matter how often I save I will always loose some work. 15 mins of work can be a lot.

Can autodesk please fix this problem fast ? 1 Year should be sufficient.

Please try to change the Language display settings in Windows. Please try to follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region > Change display language.
  2. From the Region and Language dialog, change language format to English(United States) if it is selected as other English(Country) currently.
  3. Launch Revit, R button > run Suite Workflows.

Hope it helps.

surely there must be another solution rather than changing the language format, i have had this problem and lost my work many times even though my Language format is set as indicated.

I suspect this has to do with the application attempting to connect to the Internet or the Autodesk communication port is not open on your system or the web service function wich had been an issue for the past few years.

As i have noticed i only get the issue if my PC is connected to the work's local network with internet connectivity, but if its off the network or connected to connected to an internet connection that does not require authentification i can use or hover ove suite workflows but the no hanging is experienced.

Having said that this is very frustrating!!!!

I just has this problem with Revit MEP 2014. I agree it has to do with the menu item attempting to connect to internet and would ask Autodesk provide instructions for shutting this autoconnect feature off.

Hi,

Yes the language has to be US english to solve this problem. This shouldn't be. Why is still not solved  in

Revit 2014 ? Is it too difficult to solve this Bug ?
