Revit 2013 Crashes at splash screen

This just started happening. I can't isolate what is causing the issue. I tried ot repair installation - no success. A clean uninstall/install, no success.  Online fixes for similar crashes in 2012 unsucessful.

Any other ideas out there?

I would recommend first uninstalling \ reinstalling Microsoft .NET 4.0.  You can use the link below to reinstall .NET after you remove it:

I have this same problem, but have never had Revit 2013 even open though all other Autodesk suite programs do open.

Were you able to fix this problem and if so what worked?

Look for WSCommCntr3.exe process in the task manager, kill it and try to open. And try this one, how-to-fix-when-revit-archstruct-2012

Recently I had both my Revit MEP 2012, RAC 2012 and Revit 2013 one box stop working. All of them would crash at the splash screen. Clean uninstall / re-install did nothing. Per Ryan's suggestion I went into Control Panel and repaired Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5. This fixed all versions.
