for some reason - the subscription center is now down....

If this helped solve your issue - remember to 'accept as solution' to help other find answers!
You can't think AutoCAD and run Revit.

Autodesk still has not figured out how to maintain their bandwidth!

It's doing the same thing as last year - either "access unavailable' or
'wrong password'. Autodesk made downloading the default delivery method,
you'd think they spend a few bucks fixing it

I guess I just got lucky. Logged on to the subscription site first thing
this morning, noticed it was there, downloaded in about 30 minutes. It
seems now everyone must be trying so the site is bogged down.

Revit Structure 2011 is also up for subscription download. I downloaded it
twice getting the same message that the Download Manager could not verify
Integrity Checks. The "Detail" button on the Download Manager reports 2.64
GB (99% done), status: Fatal Error.

Is this file OK? Anyone else getting this behavior?

The height of a wall is not available as a field in schedules, though...
Still, we will need Area divided by Length.

So what are your favorite new features from that list, Vector, and which of your wishes did not make it?

One thing I like to see coming back is the ability to use an image as a background in a render. This had been gone with Accurender.
Panoramas did not come back, though.
I like that the mirror options are now separated. It was sometimes annoying to have them in a little drop down list, like in 2010.
I love to have trusses and curved beams tools. I don't have to model them from scratch as before.
A sheet layout grid sounds useful, too.

3D Alignment Enhancements

Display performance improvements

but like i've been saying and nobody has been listening-
the complete restructuring of revit began with the 2009
64 bit version and ended with 2010.. the only thing we
are getting now is the continuation of this lame ribbon
and the conceptual design program that nobody is using..

there is nothing else.. the program is going to get
dumbed down for marketing purposes we already
know that..

In addition, I am glad to see that you can now add sheet names and numbers
(without having to create the sheets) for a drawing index. This will be very
useful for adding for consultant's drawings to a drawing list and creating
place holders.
