Resindential-Default.rte (template)

I have a student version of Revit 2014. The textbook I'm using says to use the above subject template, but no such template appears in the template file. Would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Did you get other content when you installed, such as family templates and the Library files?  I do not have access to the student version, so I do not know if the supplied content is different, but I have a Residential-Default.rte template file in this folder:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2014\Templates\US Imperial

The template was where you said it was. It didn't occur to me to look back to the Program Data folder, but after I did, the source was so obvious. Thanks again.
