Hey Everybody, A coworker of mine has reported this problem:
I have a relatively small condo project in 8.1. I have several 3D views set
up to render with the sun angle settings that I want. Everything is working
in 8.1. After updating the project with Revit 9, running a raytrace on these
views does not have the same result.
For the views that have a sun angle based on a location, date, and time of
day, the renderings run perfectly with the correct sun angle. For the views
that have a "direct" sun angle like 315 degrees azimuth and 45 degrees
altitude, these views render without any shadows. These are views that were
set up and worked just fine in 8.1, but now they don't render in 9. I should
add that the shadows look just fine in the shaded view with shadows on, and
I have selected the "Use Sun and Shadow Settings from view" checkbox in the
Render Scene Settings.
Anybody know how to address this issue?
