Rendering existing objects

I have just set up a project and everything at the moment is existing. I want to render this, however everthing renders gray. I have gone into Manage>Phases>graphic Overrides and changed the Material to Phase- New for existing items. That did not help. What do I need to set to get existing objects to render as new?

Thanks
Wiley

you have to select a material in the properties
of that element or paint materials on the elements..

You can set the phase filter of the view to "show complete" and then render.
This will use the material assignments used by the category or element
rather than the overidden value for the pahse.

Im having some trouble rendering on Enscape. My existing walls are coming out as gray and wont show materials. ive switched the phase filter to "show complete" and it still hasnt solved the issue. Is there something else that could be going wrong? i didnt have this issue last week.
