I was trying Render in Cloud 2013 version and I received the message...
Please confirm that you are able to use the Internet and that your firewall is not blocking secure connections
I have Windows 7 and I even tried disabling the firewall protection but still I keep getting the same message. Could someone help me fix this issue. I very badly need to use the RENDER in Cloud option. Could someone help me fix this issue.

..have you tried
i) using another net connection (eg home, or even 3G)
ii) using a proxy server
iii) using VPN
It'll be really hard for these guys to help you out unless your really prove that it's their side since, as you can see, there aren't alot of posts about the cloud rendering not working.
In my experience, I've found that even my modem type was a problem..so I bought a new modem..and now I'm really humming.
