Renaming exisiting parameters- Assembly Code

Is there a way to rename the Identity Data Parameter- Assembly Code?

No. Some parameters are kind of hard coded into the families, and cannot be changed.

you can.

follow instructions as per the link below (basically editing a .txt file (uniformatClassifications.txt file)

:

https://assemblesystems.zendesk.com/entries/23311043-Customizing-Assembly-Codes-and-Assembly-Descrip...

worked for me. i had concrete piles with the assembly description as steel pipes (for some reason)

i closed my revit sessionI, went into the aformentioned .txt file and changed it to concrete.

apologies if i'm talking out of my left ear and misinterpreted what you mean.

Pete
