Railing visibility in plan and RCP

Hi all,
I have a complex railing system (a roof structure) which works great in section, elev, perspective, but not in plan and RCP.

In plan, Revit does not cut railing geometry even when well above the cutting plane, and in RCP Revit does not show any railing geometry at all.

It appears it is not a bug, but a feature.

Could this be fixed in some 9.xx release?
I mean, all I need is Revit to treat railings as any other geometry, or at least to give the chance to change these visibility settings.

Please, advice,

Thank you

regards

gio

Any moderator or Autodesk person can give any kind of answer to this thread, plese?

Is there anything in the pipeline to change the way Revit "thinks" of railings?

Again, all it is needed is an option switch in the railing properties, either visualize in "classic" mode, or treat the railing as regular geometry, therefore properly cut in plan views and properly displayed in RCP views...

Thank you
