Qunatity take off

I need to get the details from the quantity take off from Revit ARchitecture like:

how many bricks are there in wall?

how much cement bags are used in wall?

how much steel is used for columns

Thanks in advance

Hello and Welcome to the Discussion!

What you are looking for seems a bit more detailed then what Revit does out of the box...

The steel for the columns - yes you can get that from a material takeoff.

As for how MANY bricks.... Well you can get the area of the wall - and if you know the area of one brick - you could do a formula and run the calculation.. But I would only take it as a rough estimate.

Not sure on the bags of cement... Unless you can think of a way to create a formula... That would be the only way - and again I would only use it as a rough estimate...

You can't think AutoCAD and run Revit.
