Q: Curtain Wall - How to *not* use "overlapping Gridlines"?

Say I have a curtain wall,
where I need to place a few (more than 2) horizontal grids via "One Segment"
command.
These occasional, spaced-out grids happen to align horizontally, too.

RVT gives me a warning to not place "overlapping gridlines",
unless there are only 2; but will let me place more than 2 if I disregard
the warning.

I see why more than 2 is an issue, though.
Once more than 2 are placed, *deleting* one of the grid lines,
can, and probably will, produce un-desired results.
Usually, other concurrent grid line segments are deleted along with the
segment selected.

So, what's the best method to do this?

Embed a CW inside the CW?
That seems unnecessarily complicated to me.
Is there a better way?

Select the first grid placed, and use the "Add/Remove Segments" tool
that appears on the "Modify Curtain Wall Grids" tab.

Don't add a second grid unless it is in a different position, not just a
different cell.

oh, yeah...
thanks, B!

forgot about that one.

you answer also helps to remove the auto-added gridline,
discussed in my other post, too.

Still not sure *why* it gets created, though...
