proposed phase window not creating demo lines in demo phase

Hi

I've seen this quetion posted before, but the posts are many years old and the responses say that it's a bug.

When I insert a new window into an exterior wall in the proposed phase, the demo phase drawings shows dashed lines on the faces of the wall, but no dashed lines running through the wall on the left or right of the window.  This makes it very hard to tell where the demo opening should be.  Attached is a screenshot of this issue.

if anyone knows how to fix this, I would be really grateful.

thanks!

I solved this using this tutorial to explain graphic overides:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyQGbeWfb2Q

Setting the phase filter for 'show previous + demo' to 'By Category' under 'New' and to 'Overridden' under 'Demolished' did the trick.  The lines running through the wall at the new opening edges are solid, not dashed, but I can live with that.
