Problema al guardar en Revit

hola amigos, por cuestiones de requerimientos soy usuario del revit 2009 en ingles, mi pregunta es:

por que cada vez que guardo el archivo que voy trabajando se van creando archivos con el mismo nombre y con numeraciones sucesivas?

como puedo corregir esto, o tengo que configurar algo??

The numbered versions are backup files.

You can do a "Save As" and then select the Options button in the Save As dialog.  In the File Save Options dialog, at the top, there is an edit box to set the maximum number of backup files.  Set the number you want, select OK and then save the file (using the same name, unless you want to create a separate file).  You should only get as many backup files as you specified.
