Possible to add a category to families ?

I'm trying to add various categories under the family parameter dialogue box, but I can't find anywhere where this may be possible.

The existing (hard-coded?) list is pretty exhaustive, but I would like to add at least the following:

CoBIE Classification Headings (various)

Health & Safety (for any risk items - ie to indicate heavy items, hazardous materials, COSSH details etc.)

Anyone know if this is possible ?

Many thanks,

Martin

Sorry. That list is built in. No way I know to add to it. One of the things I'd like to be able to do though...

Thanks again Paul.

It's a shame - but I guess I'll just have to keep those parameters under 'Other' with a prefix so that they at least bunch together.

All the best,

Martin

It is a shame.

One thought about "Other". It is best practice to use Other for stashing things you don't want the user to interact with. Other goes to the bottom of the list and is less likely to be noticed by the casual user.

I might be tempted to use "General" or "Identity Data" for COBie

Just a thought.

Good point Paul, I'll have a think about a more appropriate category - like you say, general is probably as good as any.

All the best,

Martin
