OK. So we had the same exact problem, but we were able to install correctly when logged in as the administrator, in the administrator account. It would not install correctly when logged in to the user's account, even if that user had full administrative privileges. We had to be logged into the actual "Administrator" account. Worked like a champ! Then you can log on into the User's account and fire up Revit (you don't need to be logged onto the admin account to use Revit once installed - only to actually install it)
