Placing Door on In-Place Massing Wall with Voids

Hello everyone,

I am trying to make a family of wall having regular voids. I made a generic model and then loaded the family in a project to built an in-place wall.

However when I place a door on the wall, the door is not placed on complete width of the wall. Same is the case with windows. Please have a look at the attached photographs.

How can I resolve this issue? Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

The problems are the voids. As you insert the door and revit sees the void he determines this as the end of the wall (See arrow in screenshot).

When you place the wall at a solid place he determines the end as you would like (see second door). So careful placement (at the spacing between voids) can give you the desired results.
