Permanent “Thin lines”,

Permanent “Thin lines”,

I’m wondering how to keep lines thin?! Why the Revit switch them again (automatically) to be thick?

Thank you

Best

Jamal

There is no way to set Thin Lines to 'off' by default. The simple remedy is to just hit "TL" to toggle it as needed.

Many thanks for the help,

My issue here is to keep it permanently thin! Is there a way?

Turn off Thin Lines and then never close Revit ever again.

This is precisely my question, why the thin lines comes back automatically if you close the Revit and then start it again?

"Thin Lines" is really just a visibility mode you toggle on and off to check the way elements are connected, etc... in the model.  It is really a kind of diagnostic mode.  If you want thin lines permanently displayed in a view you can use the "linework" tool to permanently assign a specific linestyle to an element edge in the view.  This is a view specific tool and will not reset between sessions.
