PDF printing

I have a question about how Revit creates PDF's using acrobat compared to
how ACAD does. When I create a PDF in Revit with the adobe pdf printer, my
PDF, when opened in photoshop has a white background whereas the PDF created
in ACAD with the adobe pdf.pc3 printer opens in pshop with no white
background, just the line work. Is there a work around for this or is it
just the way it is?

Thanks

Just the way it is. The white background is easily selected and deleted.

for pdf files created from revit - in photoshop, make the layer the pdf is
on a multiply layer and be sure it is the top layer. the white will then be
transparent.

???? That didn't seem to work. I opened the pdf in pshop7, created a new
layer, made sure the pdf was the top layer, then changed it to a multiply
layer and nothing happened.

nothing is supposed to happen.
what are you trying to do? color elevations? the colors you apply on layers
below the multiply layer will show thru the white.

So what if every view in my Revit model print's to PDF with transparent white, except for ONE SINGLE JERK view that when printed, opens with solid white only. What's going on? Is this a camera issue? I've tried everything... please help!

I know it's probably late but make sure what you're printing is set to hidden line before you print or Revit will rasterize the drawing giving you a white background.
