When I create a simple opening. It insists on adding a 3'-0" base offset,
constraining the top of the opening to a level 5 levels above the current
level and creating a top level offset to efectively give me a 8'-0" high
opening. When I try to uncstrain the top it will not let me. When I set
base offset to 0 and set the opening height to 8'-0" Revit says it can't
create the opening. Something is definitely broken. What gives?
When you pick on the opening, and click properties, you should be able to change the Base level, base level offset, top constraint and top constraint offset(just like a wall). Can you post the wall that its not working on.
