Offset walls without extending other walls

Is there a way to offset a wall that is connected perpendicularly to other
walls, without this resulting in an extension of those connecting walls?
Something like the result I get when I offset a wall in Architectural
Desktop: just a copy of the wall, without extending anything else. Or is it
just the way Offset works in Revit, as opposed to using Copy?

Use the Offest tool button or you can check the Disjoin optio on the Option bar when using the move or copy commands
