Office Switching to Revit - Good or Bad?

Hey all poster gurus out here. What do you think? Is transforming from AutoCAD Arch Desktop to Revit simple?

Concerned about the learning curve. If Revit is anything like MicroStation, consider me out. I really disliked MicroStation.

Been a cad user for the past decade ///// working in revit for renderings and compiling 3d design for BIM process.

acad accepts me for who I am , revit demands I be something else. in cad you can kind of work your way through any problems by just drawing one line at a time .  In revit you have to follow a strict protocol or it will deny your request.

Details are a pain in the butt in revit . acad reminds me of a universe in which you create things your way , revit is a very locked in process that doesnt always make sense .
