very short question, as I've received a curtain wall panel family, but when
i load it into a project it shoes up in a generic model category in
families, and subsequently as i try to put that panel onto a curtain grid
its not in the list of curtain panels in the type selector/ How do i get
that "generic model" curtain panel into the list of available panels in the
type selector?

thanks in advance)

Open the family up and check that Family Category and Parameters is set to
Curtain Panel. If it is, check that there is not a family already loaded in
the project with the same name, if there is delete it and reload.
