Navisworks export error - 2012

I have recently been getting an error message when exporting my model to .nwc, I do a weekly export of the model and it has been fine and without errors for months until today.

The error is as follows...

Error from Revit

Autodesk Navisworks Exporters 2012 exporter generated errors and no file was written. See :.......nwc.log

Error from txt log

Autodesk.Revit.Exceptions.InternalException: Unable to use the project position's transform to calculate point
at Autodesk.Revit.DB.ProjectLocation.get_ProjectPosition(XYZ point)
at NavisWorks9.LcRevitExportCommand.Execute(Application application, String& message, ElementSet element_errors)

Obviously it is something to do with the shared coordinates, exporting the 3D view in project internal seems to confirm this as it exports fine.

Any ideas guys would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Try going through the following:

  1. Make sure Revit is updated.
  2. Audit the project.
  3. Clear the Warnings that you can.
  4. Upgrade the project to the 2013 version, and then:
    1. Test exporting to NWC.
    2. If successful, save as a 2012 version.
