As I am working on the model, it gradually turns to wireframe mode. I know I am not changing it myself. There must be a glitch somewhere in to program. Has anyone encountered this problem and been able to fix it?
My first guess would be graphic card/system/memory problem.
However you would need to do troubleshooting to find the possible cause
-As soon a your project gets heavier it can not maintain shading/coloring and falls back to basic wireframe?
-Maybe run some tests to see if it has to do with complexity(size) of your project.
-When do you see this happen?
-Does it only happen in a single project or in all your projects?
-Can you reproduce the problem or is it only happening in certain instances.
-If you restart your computer and reload the project does it happen immediately again or only after a certain time.
-Do you have many other programs running at the same time?
-When your project falls back to wireframe. What happens if you load this project on another computer.
-Check your settings for your videocard in Revit. Change settings (e.g. Hardware accelaration to off).
-Latest updates installed?
-Repairing the Revit installation?
-Do you make (lots of) use of CAD imports in your projects?
-etc. etc.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
I'd like to answer my own question incase anyone else runs into this annoying problem. I deleted the view. I first renamed the 3D to "corrupted" and then deleted it.
