multiple area plans

I have to do multiple area calculations for the same floor plan, and the area boundary and tag seem to be model based and not view based. Is there a way to create a new kind of area plan (not gross or rentable)so that I don't have to redraw the boundary every time, or adding numbers together myself?
( I have already made multiple views, but if I change the boundary on one of the ground floor plans, it changes them on all of the ground floor plans if they are in the same section).

Make different area schemes and copy/paste the boundaries (like lines). I am
not sure I understood but this may help

Try Design Options. It allows multple area boundaries as well as scheduling the areas both room and plan areas.

Duplicate the view with detailing, then rename and edit the duplicate.

Actually, I discovered if I hit settings on the Room and Area tab, I can designate a new type of area plan. (which is what I wanted to do). Duplicating the view with detailing is what I did originally, but if you test this out, you'll see it doesn't actually create an unrelated drawing to start fresh with. If you edit an area plan in one 1st floor plan, it will edit it in all of them (in that family). I haven't tried the design options yet, but I will test it out. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

Hi, is it possible that different area schemes can  be in one schedule?  This way, I can use the two areas for an equation.  ie: GFA (area scheme 1) / BUA (area scheme 2 = Efficiency
