more floor options in family type?

How can I have more options for the floor family? I have just 4 generic simple types in the system family. No wood! I have reinstalled the content library and it did not work.

Floors are System Families and they can be very easy created inside the  Project.

If you want some ready made floors you can download them from some specialized site:

• Autodesk Seek -http://seek.autodesk.com/        accesible from : Insert >Autodesk Seek
• ARCAT  -http://www.arcat.com/bim  see, for instance:http://www.arcat.com/bim/divs/06-061500-wahoode.shtml
• RevitCity -http://www.revitcity.com/

If you want to make your own types of floors:

• Architecture >Floor > Floor:Architectural (or Structural) > Properties > Edit Type >Type Properties > Duplicate one of the existing floors and assign a name to it > Type Parameters > Construction >Structure > Edit
• in Edit Assembly >Insert Layers as you want...
